Do me a favor and read this. I wouldn’t normally beg, but, yeah: I’m pretty happy with this.
Conversations on race taking place in this country again are important, and I’m beginning to side with the people who see the value of the White House getting involved: why not try to change the conversation? And just talking about it isn’t enough, either: talking about the way we’re talking about it, which most people are uncomfortable with, needs to be a part of it.
Or, as Avenue Q put it: everyone’s a little bit racist.
