Well, here we are.
Foster Kamer is, for our purposes here, an award-winning writer, editor, and strategist. He’s got other things going on in his life, for sure, but (where it concerns this self-aggrandizing web presence) his writing about media, culture, restaurants, nightlife, finance — basically, every beat you can think of, and some you might not — has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, New York Magazine, Interview Magazine, and Gossamer, among others. He’s the editor-in-chief of Futurism, an editorial consultant for FOUND and the podcast network Kaleidoscope, and the writer of cult favorite (seriously) newsletter FOSTERTALK. If we’re being honest, he could probably stand to lose a few pounds, or at least wear sunscreen more often, and also, cut this entire description back by about 37 words, but who’s counting?
His agent is Alyssa Reuben at WME. Truly, you should all be so lucky. He’s also had his work anthologized in The Best American Food Writing series — this one — and picked up a few other awards along the way.
If you’ve got a question for him, please: Fire away. Otherwise, remember — it’s a simple game: You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball.
